Talk: My Recovery from Pancreatic Cancer
Sunday 8th June 3pm
Angie is a recently retired teacher who spent many years as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator at a local Infants school.
She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late 2012 was advised the tumour was inoperable and that only 30% of people with this type of cancer showed any response to treatment.
Angie decided that she must be pro-active in this journey and started to look at alternative as well as conventional treatment. She embarked on a routine which included oxygen and mistletoe therapy, supplements and diet in addition to chemo and radiotherapy.
In December 2013 she was informed that she was in remission and is feeling well and healthy.
